In this procedure, try to make students know how to describe a school leavers’ party.
Here I want you to look at two pictures. Please tell me what they are doing.
They are having a School Leavers’ Party. They are very happy.
I think at the school leavers’ party, maybe some of you will sing and dance. Now look at the picture on Page 80 and answer the questions.

Step Ⅱ Listening and reading
Listening
1. First read the words in the box in Activity 2 after the teacher in order to read them fluently and have a clear understanding of them.
2. Read through the questions in Activity 2 in order to know what the material is about.
3. Play the tape for the students to listen. While they are listening, they should write some notes relevant to the questions.
4. After the first time, play the tape again for the students to check.
5. Check the answers with the whole class.
