I think economic development and environmental protection are equally important. Economic development will bring a lot of convenience to our life. Protecting the environment makes our living environment better.

If we only pay attention to economic development without protecting the environment, our working conditions will become better, but the living conditions will become worse and worse. For example, in 2015, there was a severe haze in Chengdu, and people had to wear masks when going out, otherwise they would breathe in some harmful air.

On the contrary, if we only pay attention to environmental protection without economic development, then our working conditions will become worse and worse, and never catch up with the level of some developed countries.

History tells us that we should pay attention to the middle way when looking at problems. In fact, when we in the process of economic development should also pay attention to environmental protection, so that our country will take the sustainable development path.
