　　I wasn’t ready.

　　On this DVD, I share my experiences in life and how to overcome challenges and see the new fresh perspective in life. To be thankful, to dream big and to never give up. I speak to children, youths and adults about key issues and principles that I have found in my life that give me strength to conquer all that comes before me. 　　第一部分　　“See the Body”

　 Thank you, thank you very much. Good morning every body.

　　Students: Morning!

　　Morning, how are you doing?

　　Students: Good.

　　You are fine?

　　Students: Yeah.

　　Oh sweet, nice to see you. My name is Nick Vujicic and it’s a pleasure to be with you. I have a wheel chair over there. It’s my BMW 7 series. I am gonna take it to “pick my ride” and get some spinning rings on it. and the..You know those full-picked cars you know with hydraulic stuff, you know how they’re downs and around stuff. I wanna give my wheel chair down stuff.(1:55) why? If I can cross the road and go bang bang bang! It’s really cool to drive that thing around that I have no arms and no legs and I was actually born in this way. And There is no medical reason why these happen. So I have no limbs, but I have a little chicken drumstick. And we call this chicken drumstick, because first of all it looks like one and second of all sometimes my dog thinks it’s one. And I tell you man so funny it comes up to start biting on that. I push(象声词) him in the head a couple of times. It’s nuts ,man. It’s so cool man. I love to swim as well and I actually float like a life jacket. I float up right like this and I have my little motor down here,and I go ‘bow-’this right. And it’s so funny when people see me for the first time. It’s so cool you’re kids freaked out you know how to say? I tell you this little boy came up to me and he goes “what happened?” and I went up to him, and I goes:” cigarettes!”. and there was one girl who saw me and she goes “mummy! Look, it’s an alien!” So I went up to her and I went:” ah~~” she is like ah~~. I ran after her and said:” I am gonna eat you!” You know，Freak her out! So with my little foot here, I can also write. This is my pen here. I can actually write and type with my foot but I learn how to draw and all this a lot things. That’s pretty cool. I learn how to type 43 words in a minute on the normal computer. So it’s like heeling-toe heeling-toe combination and I am learning sign language with my foot I ‘mma learn it ready? Peace. Is that cool? Very cool. Anyway, we gonna have some fun today. And I just gonna tell you the funny story of all. It’s so funny. I was in a car one day. When you see me from the outside of the car, you have no idea that I have no arms and no legs right? You just see my gorgeous face. when the traffic lights one day, and this car comes up next to us. And this girl looked at me and I am like:” cool! Let’s have some fun here.” I know that she has no clue that I have no limbs so I looked at her, I grabbed the seat belt in my mouth and loose it like this and did it in the car seat, I just did this and she was like ，she was like“you freak me out man!” It’s very cool. Anyway, I have a couple of things to show you. I play drums. Do you believe me?

　　Students: yeah!

　　I actually play drums; I get the drumstick in my teeth. I am just joking. Look I have drum machine up here and we just gonna. So what it is? Basically it’s a pad right? In this like 16 buttons and so each button represents a sound right? So I am not pressing player or anything like that. You see my foot? All right, it’s like serious. (强悍， solo时间)

　　So that’s sort of more like your rocking, you know, sort of pop. Whatever, but then you got ah ah. Can I have some more volume? Please give me some.

　　***(难道是juice?) right here we go. So It’s like. Do you like that? That would be very cool if I can get this on my wheel chair and play while I am driving? And I get some “tech”” online here we go….1,2,3,4　　(又是一段强悍的solo)

　　Beautiful. So I have a tennis ball here. I just want to show you how far I can kick this thing. And a lot of people are like freaked out, you know, how can you do that! And I just want to show you. It’s very very cool. Can I have a volunteer please to catch the ball for me? Ah let’s see, let’s see, let’s see, sure, I will get you. How are you doing? Yes, you, my finger point at you. Stand up. How are you doing? Beautiful. What’s your name?

　　Jack, nice to meet to you today. Now can I get you to do me a favor? And probably just go up that way , see my finger point that way? Up that way a little bit. I am a big fan to David Beckham. I love David Beckham. I love how he curves that ball. So I am practicing this thing. You know what I mean? Just move back, keep moving back, keep on back back……keep on back back I am joking, I can’t give that far. Come forward. It’s all good. I was just joking. Right, there is good. Right, there is good. Now that’s a pretty big kick so I am gonna take a little bit of run-up here. Oh I think it’s so good. I just want to see if I can get you scared a little bit. All right. Here we go. Are you ready right now when you get this ball, don’t throw it back because I can’t catch, do you understand me? Are you ready? Here we go, when you get this ball just come up here on the stage. Is that cool,Ready, 1, 2. Look at that… Jump up right, on this side. Beautiful, now Jack, have you had a good day today? ‘Yeah.’’Thanks good,I will get you to hold the ball for me. Wait…I haven’t done with you yet right?All right，you just Stand here ，face the crowd. So anything new happened in you life today? School, out school, boring, learn anything? school or there something cool? did you homework? No. All right,here we just want to be real with you. There’s a cool game I wanna play with you. That’s cool. I am gonna get your right hand on the table. All right that’s a cool ring. I gonna give me a toe ring. You know what I mean? One day I am gonna give me a swiss watch too. Anyway, just put the whole hand on here. Beautiful, now, what we gonna do, we gonna play a game called slapers. Ok? Now I don’t know if you know this game. Basically, I am gonna slap you,Ok?and if you..when I go like this, you should move away this before I get you, so it’s a race between your hand and the chicken drumstick. Ok you should be quicker. it’sNo1..No2... I make it easier for you. I even look away and I’ll close my eyes. Ok, now is his hand still there? I have done this a couple of times. You can’t cheat on it. All right. Now I close my eyes. Your hand there? Is his hand there? Are you ready? All right. . I will let you win, ok? Give me a hug, I love you. Give him applause guys. 　　I have got a phone up here. It is not my cell phone. It’s a normal phone. I just ripped it out from the wall. I am gonna show you how I can actually flick this phone onto my shoulder. It’s very cool. It’s actually not always guaranteed that it gonna happen the first time. So what happens when you fail?

　第二部分

I want to talk about..when I started, you know, go to school and lots of people put me down. You know people tease each other I mean people come up and say, ”Hey! you are fat, you are fat , you are fat , you are fat ,..you know, you need to lose some weight” when you go home you look at yourself in the mirror and go “em~ I’m fat！”right？So many people tease each other. As you know, you’re too short, too high, you look like whatever, different hair and all that, It doesn't matter.

Seeing thing is, when you’re at school, when you grow up in life, you actually saw it matters to people how you look.

And then it matters to you because it matters to others.

Why? why does it matters how you look?

Because, if they don’t like you, then who will?

If they don’t accept you, then who will?

And the fear that have is that we gonna be alone, that we’re not good enough.

We’re going to change ourselves.

You know so many people put me down and say “Nick, you look so weird！No one is really your friend. You can’t do this, You can’t do that.”

And I couldn’t change anything, I couldn’t change /fix my hair one day and everything goes fine.

It isn’t like you know whatever, I couldn’t change my circumstance！

I couldn’t just one day wake up and say“Hey!Give me arms and need arms and legs.”

You know mean like, I went to a body builder, you know, can you give me arms and legs.

I’m joking. Hehe, Body builder cannot get it. Right ? I get to people and ask them to give a hand you know I was joking.

But It was so hard because people put me down.

I started believing that I was not good enough.

I started to believe that I was a failure, thus never ever be somebody who people will like and people will accept.

And it is so hard, man, I say to myself:

”I can’t go on soccer like everybody else. I can’t ride on my bike ,I can’t skate on this or that things .”

I start getting depressed.

I thought what kind of purpose I have to live, I just here to live to die? I mean.

Isn't there a purpose for me ?

Isn't there a purpose in life?

And i have questions that are no answers. I asked my mom and dad why this happened. I asked doctor why this happened. They don’t know.

There is something in life that is of out of your control, that you cannot change and you're going to live with.

The choices we have is either to give up or keep on going.

I gonna to ask you what you’re gonna to believe?

Are you going to believe in yourself?

Are you going to believe everybody's judgement on you?

Are you going to believe people when they say that you are a failure and no one really likes you or cares about you?

Hey, I don’t mean that you don’t need someone who really come up and say to you “Hey, I really like you and care about you.”

No, it is not that, it is the fact that people put you down.

People don’t even look you in the eye. People ask how you are and you say fine but actually you are not fine and they don’t know that, they never know that.

I’ll tell you that life is interesting, life is a journey.

See this phone here. Let’s say that I wanna go to the phone and I start from moving here. Now to get to the phone, is that i cannot start from meditating（冥想）and going hum~~ ,right? And float across the air, right? It is some kind do not work. Hmm and wuu, It is some kind do not work. I have to take one step at a time, one step at a time, one step at a time.

You can only take one step at a time.

I don’t care how big your step is. Because it is only one step at a time .

You can’t do two steps in one, understand? So it is like one step at a time.

You take this step in this direction and you take that step in that direction. So sometimes you get lost in the way and sometimes you fell down.

To illustrate my point, I gonna jump off the table and drop back twist and land in the floor. Ok, is that cool? Are you ready? There is a clock down there, can you move the clock away for a little second? Beautiful, beautiful, all right, are you ready? Just let me know when you’re ready. Are you guys ready, Ok, 1,2,… I’m joking man. Is that serious？Please put that back. If I do that I broke my arms or something, you know what I mean?

But honestly, along the way you might fall down like this. Ready? 倒下！Hello!

So what will you do when you fall down? “Get back up!” everybody knows about get back up. Because I stop walking I cannot get anywhere.

But I gonna tell you sometimes in life when you fall down, you feel lacking strength to get back up. So you put on a mask in your face when you go to school. Pretend that everything is OK when it is not. And you go home, land your bag when no one is looking at you.

You don’t have to oppress anybody. You are yourself.

And fear comes in. You know the feel is there when you walk into your house.

Maybe it is a broken home. Maybe you have doubt in your life? Maybe you don’t know for sure what is gonna happen in the future and it scares you. Maybe worry about what people think of you, what people say about you.

You see that fear will paralyze (瘫痪) you.

I just wanna ask you today “Do you think you have hope?”

Because I tell you, I am down here, face down, and I have no arms and legs.

It should be impossible for me to get back up.

I mean when you go home and you tie the arms and legs of your brothers and sisters. And like push them down and see how long it is gonna take them to get back up. You know what I mean. You see, you can tell them “See you tomorrow”.

As for me, you may think It should be impossible for me to get back up, but actually it is not.

You see i will try one hundred times to get back up, and if i fail i give up, do you think i can ever get back up? No. But if i fail, i try again, and again and again. For as long as i try, there is a chance i can get back up. Do that make sense?

It is not the end until you give it up.

And just the fact that you are here, it should persuade you that you have another chance to get back up. There is still hope. I’m not here today to tell you that i understand your pain. I don’t know how it feels to be abused. I don’t know how it feels to feel so fat and you just gonna eating disorder. I don’t know how it feels with a broken home. I don’t know how it feels.

But i know how it feels with a broken heart and i know how it feels to be alone.

And I want you to know that I found my strength from Jesus Crisis .

You’re gonna to find your strength from where you could find it in.

And i just want you to know that this is not the end, it matters that how you're gonna to finish it. Are you gonna to finish it strong? And you will find that strength to get back up. like this. (爬起！！鼓掌！！)

How did i get from depress to who i am today because I tell you I was depressed.

When i was 8, I used to concentrate on things i didn’t have.

I wished I could have arms and legs. I wished I could do this. But what can I do? You see I have a choice. That’s what we’re gonna to talk about today. Choices!!

I can either to be angry for not having arms and legs or be thankful for my little chicken drumsticks. You see I can still do a lot of things. At home I can brush my teeth, comb my hairs, get myself ready in the morning. I am traveling around the world. It is amazing!

But I have to ask myself a couple questions.

And the first question is really “who am i? who am I? ” I am Nick Vujicic. But who is that? And it is funny that how the friends around you should determine who you are. You change yourself. You come to school and everybody swears around me at high school and I started swearing. Why do I do so? Because it is so cool thing to do, everyone swears. So I don’t wanna be left out. And I wanna be accepted so I started swearing. You go to a party and everybody is drinking so you drink. Why? Because everybody around me is doing so. Big deal! And you start losing yourself and you start putting you security on temporary things. You start putting your happiness on things that will not last.

You can get drunk all your life, but in the morning , you gonna be sober with a headache, with the same problems.

You wanna be high the rest of your life on drugs. Everybody says ‘Don’t do drugs’ why? Why even we go with them? So that is of curiosity or teens pressure？Or try to escape reality.

Basically, 3 reasons just why we go to sex, drugs, alcohol. Why you do? Because it feels good.

Ok, that is why you do that.

I mean when you want something, you go and get it.

You wanna buy something, you save up money you go and get it.

Why? Because that will make you happy.

And we take this step in a wrong direction and it will take you away from your dreams.

You may say that ”Nick, don’t worry, drugs and alcohol will not take me away from my dreams and my purposes and sex all that no! ”

But I will tell you, it actually will.

Because you go to level in drugs, you go to level in drinking. It isn’t enough, you will find it out. You will try something new. And you also go to school and people put you down.

Parents will say that you’re a failure because you fail in a test.

And you start to believe the lies around you. Saying that you’re not good enough, no one will want you and you never ever doing anything good in your life and you never ever achieve your dreams and goals that you wish you have done or wish you could do.

And it is the step that takes you closer to that voice saying ”you’re not good enough, you’re not good enough!” You know you just need one more step to fall.

See you have choice, to know which step you’re gonna take today.

Let me ask you “do you know who you are? You wanna know who I think you are?”

You care about what your friends think who you are. You know you care about their opinion.

Do you know who I am? You wanna know what I think who you are I will tell you now.

I didn’t care how you look. Honestly, if you are 400kg, I will come up to you and give you a hug and say “I love you!”

I don’t care if you’re fat short tall and thin I didn’t care. I really don’t care how you look. I don’t care what you good at ,I don’t care what you not good at. I don’t care whether you like rock music or not. I don’t care! I don’t care you’re good at mathematical or good at PE or even not good at anything…

But I’m gonna tell you’re awesome just the way you are!

I know so many teenagers who look at them in the mirror and wish they have a different body. Girls, you’re beautiful just the way you are! You are gorgeous! You are gorgeous! I love you just the way you are! And the boys, you are the men!

Because it not how you look.

When you see me for the first time ,many of your feel sorry for me. Do you feel sorry for me anymore ？No! Why? Because you know who I am. But don’t you remember I have no arms and no legs? Would you wanna be my friends? Of course ,you would. Why? Because you like who I am. But I have no arms and no legs and you gonna say, “So what?”

So when you say “I don’t have this I don’t have that”, I would say ”So what? I don’t care!”

You are worth more than diamonds, all the diamonds in the world. You are so precious every single one of your heart. You can do something not just something you can do but you can live ..life!

Life is not always good, life is always not gorgeous.

But life is worth living when you find purpose.

“Nick, I don’t know what my purpose is. I don’t know! My parents want me to do this, my teachers want me to do that, my friends think I should do this..i really don’t know what to do ”

And you’re tore, man! You don’t know what to do. You have to make important decision, man. You don’t know what to do. Who do you believe?

Follow your heart.

if that is what you wanna be

if that is what you wanna do in life, then walk toward it.

One day at a time.

That phone might seem so far away, in fact, you might think that it is impossible for you to reach that. Let us say that the phone is all the way at the back of the room. How am I gonna get off this table, I can’t. How am I gonna get there? I can’t.

But I want you to know that nothing is impossible.

And if if it is impossible for your dream to come true. Let’s say you wanna be a pilot but you can’t be a pilot for some reasons maybe your eyesight, maybe your height. I know somebody who couldn’t be a pilot. They are doing sound now that they actually love to do.

See all things come together for the good, that is how you see it in my life.

You see it is nothing good having no arms and no legs. And if, I you know, click my finger and magically speaking and your arms and legs just disappear. Do you think you will be happy with me? No ! You come round after me and head bump me, OK？Because it is nothing good having no limps.

But I love my life! Do you want know why? Because I have seen the purposes.

Because I have no arms and no legs, you’re all listening to what I have to say.

This is may be the most attentive you have been than any guest speak-up that everybody else are boring and what you don’t even know anyway. That is what you think, I know. Don’t worry. I go to school too. And what do you know?

I don’t care other people how to say. They have no idea of what I am going through. What pain do they know? But you see me and see what kind of pain I might go through, what I gone through.

Although all a sudden now I’m seeing all of you here maybe for the first time.

You do believe in words in my mouth when I’m saying “I love you!” You don’t even know me but you actually believe that I do love you! You see this is unconditional love.

You don’t need to do anything for me to love you. I just love you, why? I don’t know, because I just love you, it’s love, unconditional love.

Not only it is about you and your life, but what about the people around you. You know if you think that you have no purpose, “Nick, I don’t know what to do. I wish I could do this but I don’t think this is gonna happen in my life. “ let me tell you so many people come up to me and say “Nick, I don’t have a purpose. I don’t know what to do in my life”

Let me ask you one thing..

If you went through your life full of pain full of tears, and at the end of your life you actually save somebody’s life.

Is your life worth living?

Is the pain worth someone’s life if you could actually save somebody?

Can you imagine if you actually saw somebody nearly get run over a car and you die and get him(them) out away of the car. For instance, an example, is that your life worth living? You save somebody’s life, I don’t know.

What about this? Let’s say you have a problem in your life and you wanna give up now.

Imagine if someone is 10 years older who have exactly gone through the same thing you have actually got through it. And he came to you and said “I know how it feels. I have been there. I have been going through what you are going through now, but I’m still here.”

Will that not encourage you ? Could that possibly save your life? Yes, isn’t that not a good purpose worth living for? And that is why I believe in you, because that is the great purpose in life. It is love, honestly. It sound like quaky. Anyone who would say I don’t care.

I love people because they have freedom and power in loving people.

You have a choice, everyday you come to school, to either tease about somebody, gossip about somebody, or you can go up and encourage them. You can go up to somebody and say “hey, you’re looking good today.” When you ask how they doing and they say OK, you know they are not OK and you could say “No really, how are you doing?”

You can save somebody’s life.

“Oh, really? Nick, I don’t think so. Cheat yourself.”

When I am 6 years old, grade 1, 12 people tease me I count them all with my fingers.

12 people tease me!

And at the end of the day, 10 to 3, in the afternoon, I say to myself, “if one more people tease me today, that’s it. I’m gonna give up.”

And I drive in my wheel chair my BMW7 series to find parents, right ? And there is one girl who yells that “hey, Nick,” I’m thinking great, here it is.

She comes to me and she says “Nick, I just want you to know that you’re looking good today.” And I’m like wow~~

The power of encouragement, you can save a person’s life.

I’ll tell you I was walking this way “You’re not good enough ,no one like you and you can do nothing good in your life. You can’t do this you can’t do that. No is gonna to marry you and all this things” and I get to the edge and all I need is that one more person to tell me that I’m not good enough and I’ll be down there.

Do you know you could be that one person for somebody else to push over…

You don’t know how many people have eating disorder in the school. You don’t know how many people want to hurt themselves in the school. They hide it. You don’t know how many people hate their lives.

And you one of the reason why. Can you imaging that?

Seriously, why? Just because you want to have fun. Grow up, grow up!

I dare you at this school not to tease others at the rest of time.

I dare you, do you think it is possible. You would say “I wouldn’t do that but everybody else will .”

Be the change you wanna see. And you be that person then you turn around. This school every person should have friends. You see somebody has no friends, why don’t you go up to that person and be their friends. Because you’re scared what people think of you.

Let us do it. Wake up! Embrace, man, let’s live!

I love my life, nothing stop me! Am I happy all the time ? No! I’m not happy all the time. I’m not happy, I cry sometimes. Not because I no arms and legs, just is easy. I’m gonna about thing in life.. other things make me stressed and anxious about it. The persons that I love, they hurt, but I cannot do anything about that. That will kill me !

We all gone through something. We all try to find that something that happiness. You can find it. Because I found it. Take an instance, you need to learn something. Do you know for you to learn something you’re actually learn by somebody else. Anything anybody else learn you can actually learn.

Make sense? Right? How do you know that it is black? Because someone has taught you it is black. Why? Because someone learn that it is black. And when you learn you know it is black by someone teaching you.

Nothing is beyond your reach. Understand what I’m saying? But we’re not all good at math ,not all good at …we are not good at maybe telling colors. Big deal. Find what you love to do.

I love loving people, I love encouraging people. That is great thing, it is the great business in the world. Saving people’s lives, love it.

But not all gonna be speakers. Not all gonna be doing same thing, that will be crazy.

What do you want do in your life ? Is there something more to your life? I have something more to my life and I believe it is God. If you wanna know him it is fine.

I love you guys so much. Love you very much.

Choices at yours.

I make a choice to keep my virginity until I marry. Good prefer than words(Facts speak louder than words.) That my wife is worth waiting for. To make wrong choices ,yes, we do. And bad consequences come from bad choices? Yes. And I can talk about half an hour telling the consequence of sex and alcohol. No, I’m not here to lecture you.

I’m not here to say not to do drugs, not to do all that stuffs.

But don’t believe you know everything either.

“What I don’t know would not kill me”, right? Does it make sense? That is stupid. Hehh. How dumb is that? Is that gonna blame you but I don’t know it. Is it gonna kill me still? Yeah.. idiot! Of course.

Look at me and my life. I make choices and this is how I am. This is what I am. And I love it.

You know it is cool. Sorry, just get a seat organize, it is better. Put my feet up.

I’m gonna talk about my wife. I’m not married and I don’t know who my wife is yet. Right? It is OK. I know she is coming. Fine! She is coming.

Girls, just because you don’t have boyfriends it doesn’t mean that you’re not beautiful you’re not loved， you don’t need a boyfriend, you don’t need love, you don’t need to use your body to that security to make you feel that someone need you.

My wife is coming.

And I may not have hands to hold my wife’s hands. But I don’t need hands to hold her heart, that is what I wanna hold.

To tell you, a real man would wait. A real man wouldn’t put your life in danger.

If you are not 100% sure that you’ll go together for the rest of your life. That is why I don’t have sex because I don’t know who I am gonna to marry yet. Why sleep around with everybody else? It is so silly. Why? Just for temporary pleasure. No, man.

It is beautiful to know that I gonna share it with my girl my girl. And I’m her guy. I love that. We’re gonna have children together, I know that. How can I hug my children when they cry.

I should get depressed that what kind of father am I gonna be? cheat yourself.

There was a girl, she is so cute man, one of my friends’ daughters. She was, you know, 2 and a half, she had on pink hat, she had on pink petticoat, she is about my height as well. And she came to hug everybody goodbye at the family function and she came to me. I was sit on the floor and she was looking at me. And I am like, cool? What can a 2 and a half years girl honestly be thinking about? It is so weird and she looked at me for about 25 seconds and then she realized something. It was little like bing~ you know. And she realized I had no arms to hug when she came up to hug me, she put her hands behind her back. And she hug me with her neck.

I know! Isn’t that more beautiful? So beautiful!

Why am I here to tell you this I love you. That everything is gonna be OK.

Not to say that I’m gonna to be with you everyday to tell you that.

Not to say that I understand that you’re going through.

But today I have come here so that you remember my smile O(∩_∩)O~

And you remember what I say:

You have a choice to either up with somebody or put someone down.

You either to have a choice to step towards your goals and dreams or step away going into temporary things.

You have a choice either to give up or keep going.

Give up or get up.

When you fail, try again. And again, and again.

I want you to close your eyes please. If you don’t close your eyes, that is fine, you just look at the floor, don’t talk to the person next to you please.

I’m wanna ask you,

“How are you? What heaviness are you carrying? What tears do you hold back? What pain what fears I kept inside?”

You don’t have to hold on this fears you just take one step at a time. Not to say that one day all this fears just completely disappear. But can you forgive those who hurt you? Because that is what healing start. Every time someone put you down, will you make a decision to bring somebody else up?

Pick yourself in a open area there are no building, there are no shelters. And there is a storm above you and the storm represents the situation in your life. You aren’t telling anybody you got through because first of all they would not understand, and second of all, they can’t even help you anyway.

You are in a storm and you download your knee. You are cold you are weak and you feel like this is the end.

Are you not still here? You are still here! You don’t have to do this alone. You can talk to counselor(辅导员), you can talk to people you trust. And you can talk to me but I talk to Jesus. That hold on that person who you might help you. And imaging right now they are saying:

Though they cannot stop the storm right now, they will hold you and keep you warm until the storm passed. Because when they hold you the storm is still there but it is OK. Because they are with you all the way.

Think of your friends. You look at them in the eyes and you know they maybe are not happy. You go to party and you just look at them in the eye you know they are hurting as well, everybody is trying to cover up. Can you leave somebody today?

Make a choice today, to do something good. Hold on to that hope. Open your eyes, look at me.

Tears clean the windows of your soul, that is why you feel good after crying.

I’m here today to hug you, I’m a hugging machine.

And if you want a hug, I gonna need a couple minutes to get out of this and then go to the table to the side. There is a table around the corner behind this camera. And I wanna hug you and I want you to hug me like you never hug before. Because there is healing in hugging. And I want you to know I love you guys so much. Don‘t give up and know that there is always someone out there who will believe in you and love you just the way you are!

"多谢，多谢各位，各位早晨，早晨，大家好吗？大家都好吗？我名叫力克胡哲，很高兴和大家见面，我的轮椅就在那边，它是我的宝马BMW7系列，我打算带它参加,旧车翻新节目,把车轮换成自转的,大家知道有些翻新车,换上了油压升降系统吗?知道他们行走时会弹跳吗?我想把我的轮椅做到同样效果,在过马路时弹跳起来发出怦怦响声,能够这样做,真酷!"
"我是生来没有手和脚的,在医学上也找不出原因,我没有四肢,但我有这"小鸡腿",称它为"小鸡腿",因为它真的很像,另外,我家的狗也以为它是鸡腿,告诉大家有趣的事,我的狗会走过来,吃我的"小鸡腿",我就在它头上打了好几趟,真疯狂!真酷,我喜爱游泳,我可以像救生衣一样浮起来,也可以垂直浮着,我的"小鸡腿"是马达,让我全速开动前进(学发动机的嗡嗡声)."
“人们第一次见到我时会感到很有趣，真酷，而小孩子会极度海派，你知道为何吗？曾有一位小男孩看见我，到我面前说：发生了什么事？（拉长音），我上前对他说：是香烟。又有一位小女孩看见我，便说：妈妈，看！外星人！于是我上前去吼叫（发出吼叫的声音，哇``），她便尖叫（啊``）！我追着她，说：我要吃掉你！（台下一片笑声），吓坏了她。”

"我想告诉大家,我起初上学的时候,很多人奚落我,很多人都喜欢互相嘲笑,在人家面前取笑说:你很肥胖,你很肥胖,你必须减肥,当你回家,看着镜子的自己,说,噢,我真的很胖,许多人喜欢嘲笑别人,你太矮,你太高,你长得太,等等,你的头发是怎样,其实这并不重要,但情况是,当你在学校中,在成长过程中,你看紧别人怎样看你的外表,你自己注重,因为其他人注重,为什么?为什么要注重外表?因为倘若别人不喜欢你,那谁会喜欢你?如果他们不接纳你,那谁会？我们所恐惧的事孤单，害怕我们不够好，我们要改变自己，有许多人奚落我，说：力克，你真怪．没有人事你真正的朋友，你不能做这些，不能做那些，我不能改变这些事，不是改换发行，所有事情便变得顺利，不是的，

而是，我不能改变现状，我不能一天醒来，说，给我手和脚，我要手和脚，明白吗?

我不能找位健身教练帮我练出手和脚，我在开玩笑呢，健身教练不能做到的，请别人帮忙时，也不能真的请他给我一双手，真的很困难，因为别人奚落我，我开始相信我不够好，我开始相信我是失败者，相信我永远都不会被人喜爱或接纳，真的很困难，我对自己说：我不能像其他人一样，不能到足球场踢球，不能骑脚踏车，不能玩滑板等等，

我开始抑郁，我在想，我为了什么而活？活着只为了等待死亡吗？生存不是有目的吗？生命不是有目标吗？

我有许多问题，但却没有答案，我问父母，为何会这样发生？我问医生，为何会这样？他们全都不知道答案，生命中有些东西是我们不能控制及改变的，我们只能接受，我们有的选择，就是放弃，或继续生活下去，我想问大家，你相信什么？你相信自己，还是相信其他人对你的判断呢？你相信别人说你是失败者？相信无人喜欢你？相信无人真正关心你？我意思不是你需要某人？对你说：我很喜欢你，关心你，而是指，别人看扁你，奚落你，甚至没有放你在眼内，别人问候你，你回答：很好。事实上你并不好，但他们永远不会察觉，生命是很有趣的，生命是一个旅程，大家看见这部电话吗？比方说，我想往电话那方去，我要由这位置开始，走到电话那方去，我不能单靠默想，对吗？或是从空气中漂浮过去？这不会有作用的，发出古怪响声，不会有作用的，所以我需要一步，一步，一步，地走出去，你只可每次走一步，不管你一步有多大，仍是每次一步，总不能一次走两步，明白吗？是一步一步的向前走，你可向这方向走或可向那方向走，有时候你迷路，有时候你跌倒，为了说明这一点，我打算从桌上跳下来，然后翻腾落地，酷吗？预备好吗？有个时钟在地上？可以把它移开吗？很好，大家准备好了吗？让我知道大家准本好了，开始，一，二，（假跳）我开玩笑而已，请把时钟放回原处，若我这样做，我的手会折断的，人生旅途中，你或会像这样跌倒，预备好吗？（吁吁吁，模拟坠落声音），嗨，你好，当你跌倒的时候，该怎么办？站起来，所有人也知道要重新站起来，若我不站起来，什么地方也不能去，若我不站起来，什么地方也不能去，当你在某些时刻跌倒，你感到再无力气站起来，所以，你带着面具上学，假装一切安好，然后你回家，躺在床上，没有人看见你，你也不用取悦任何人，你就是你，然后恐惧来了，当踏进家门，你便用这种恐惧，或许那是个破碎的家，或许你的生命中感到疑惑，或许你不肯定将来的事，而使你恐惧，或许你担心别人怎样评价你，那恐惧会使你的生命瘫痪，我今天想问大家，你觉得有盼望吗？我在这里，面向着地，没有手和脚，我应该没可能自己站起来，你回家把弟妹的手脚绑起来，再把他们推到，看他们要多久才再站起来，你可以跟他们说：明天再见，我应该没可能自己站起来，但事实并非如此，我尝试一百次站起来，若一百次也失败，若我失败后，便放弃，我能再站起来吗？不能够，若失败后，我再尝试，失败后继续尝试，只要不断尝试，总有站起来的希望，只要你不放弃，那就不会是个终结，只要你仍在这里，总有再站起来的机会，仍然有盼望，我今天不使对你说，我明白你的痛楚，我未曾经历被虐待的痛楚，我未曾被叫作，胖子，或患上饮食失调症，我未曾经历家庭破碎的痛苦，我不明白这些感受，但我明白破碎心灵的痛苦，我知道孤单时针么一回事，我在耶稣基督里找到力量，你也该找出你力量的来源，我想你明白一切还未终结，关键是你要在未段如何行动，你会在未段权利行动吗？你定会找到重新站起来的力量，就像这样，（用头顶着桌面，身体蠕动着，往他左边的一部电话机前移动，用头顶在电话机上，调整身体，停了一下，然后直立起身体，台下一片掌声。）”
