    TheprimarygoalofthisthesisisstudiesthesimilarityanddifferenceofelderlylivingbetweenChinaandAmerica,throughthemodernfilmsASimpleLifeandTheBucketList.Underthebackgroundthatglobaloldagepopulationaccelerateddevelops,theelderlylivingbecometheurgentquestionthatcatchattentionofvariouscountries,Chinatookinadevelopmentthepopulationgreatnation,alreadymarchedintotheoldagenationalranks.Looksovertocaresfortheagedresearchmanyarticles,concentratestocaringfortheelderlylivingandcaresfortheagedsystemreform,itisfewandscatteredthattheattentioncaresforthecultureandlifeoftheaged,especiallyitisreallyfewofcaresforthecomparisonoftheculturalbetweenchinaandAmericacultureofoldagedsupport.ThisthesisdependsonthefactsinChinaandAmerica,analysestheirbackgrounds,suchashistory,thesocialsecuritysystemandsoon,putsforwardtheideasofperfectsocialsecuritysystem,andimprovestheelderlylivinglevelinChina.

    摘要

    在加速发展的全球老龄化的背景下，老年人口增长迅速，老年问题越来越突出。因此，越来越多人把目光投向老年问题。其中，能突出反映老年问题的养老保障体系和老年生活方式得到社会各界的广泛关注。本文通过两部现代电影《桃姐》和《遗愿清单》折射出的现实社会状况，比较中西方老年生活的异同，及其产生的背景，如社会保障制度，历史渊源等，并对其进行分析，就我国老年人生活面临的问题与挑战，结合西方老年人生活与我国的实际国情，提出完善我国的养老保障体系，建立适合我国国情的养老方式，进一步提高我国老年人的生活水平。

    Chapter1IntroductionThischapterintroducethebackgroundofthestudy,themotivationofthisstudyandresearchquestionsaboutthisstudy.1.1ThebackgroundofthestudyInrecentyears,fortheelderpopulationisgrowsfastly,appliedresearchershavebecomeincreasinglyinterestedinelderlystudy.Elderlylivingasanimportantpartofelderlystudy,sothatmoreandmorepeopledrawattentiontotheelderlyliving.However,fewstudiesareconvincingtointerpreterthedifferenceofelderlylivingbetweenChinaandAmerica.ButasagingpopulationinChinaincreasequickly,theagingproblemisrisetothesurface.AnalysisthedifferencebetweentwocountrieshavesignificanceforreferencetoChina.
    1.2ThemotivationofthisstudyTherearesomeresearchesaboutelderlyliving,bothinChinaandAmerica.Mostoftheirworksarefocusonpatternsoffamilysupportorthelifequalityoftheelderlypatternoffamily,orDevelopmentandvalidationoftheQualityofLifeScalefortheElder.andattitudestowardelderinChinaandtheUnitedStates.ButthosestudiesseldomfocusonthecomparisonofrealitylifeofelderlyinChinaandAmerica,whichhasgreatsignificance.Frist,itisavitalpartinestablishingtheharmonioussociety,whichpoliciesourcountryhaspaygreatattentionto.Thepolicyofharmonioussocietyisbasedonhumanbeingsandtheneedsofourcitizens.Withthedegreeoftheagedphenomenonbecomingmoreseriousinourcountry,ourcountrywalkintotheageofpopulationThe

    China'soldagesecuritysystemwasformallyestablishedintwentiethCentury.Itisthesymbolofthebeginningoftheold-agepensioninsurancesystemthatregulationoflaborinsurancebyelawofthepeople’srepublicofChina,whichhasbeenpublishedin1951.ThepresentpopulationstructureisaheavyburdenfortheyoungChinesepeopletosupporttheold.Intheearly1990s,10youngChinesesupportedoneelderlyperson.Thesedays,everyyoungcouplehastosupportfourseniorsandonechild.Inthepast,somelocalChinesegovernmentstriedtosetupendowmentinsurancesystemswherebytheruralpeoplepaidintoafundtosupportthemselves.In2009,Chinaofficiallyexperimentedwiththeold-agepensionforruralseniorsinonetenthofitscounties.Chinahad2,862county-leveladministrativeregionsin2005.InNovember2009,SouthChina'sHainanProvincebecameoneofthefirsttopilottheprogram.Underthesystem,about98percentofruralresidentsaged60yearsorolder-some530,000people-received165yuanforthefourthquarterof2010Thursday,accordingtoChenCheng,vicegovernoroftheprovince.Thepensionsarepaidwithfundsfromthreesources.Ruralresidentsaged16to59yearspay4to8percentofthebasepayment,whichistheaveragefull-yearper

    capitaincomeofthepreviousyearinthelocality.Theyareallowedtopaymoresotheycanreceivealargerpensioninthefutureaslongasthepaymentdoesnotexceed15percentofthebasepayment.Thecumulativepaymenttermforruralpersonsyoungerthan45yearsis15years.In2008,percapitalnetincomeofChineseruralresidentstotaled4,761Yuan.Thecentralgovernmenthasearmarkedfundsforpayingthe55-yuan-per-monthpension.Centralgovernmentcofferswillpay80percentofthebasicpensioninChina'spoorwesternareasand60percentincentralareas.Itwillpay20percentinthewealthiereasternareas.Localgovernmentswillpaytherest.AsImentionedabove,wecanhaveabasicviewofthehistoricrevolutionofold-agepensioninsurancesysteminChina.Inmodernsociety,comparetotheold-ageinsurancesysteminAmerica,therearesomefundamentalcharactersofold-agepensioninsurancesysteminourcountryasfollow.Inthefristplace,Thelawisnotperfect,andhavestrongadministrativefeature.sincethepromulgationofthatregulationoflaborinsurancebyelawofthepeople’srepublicofChina,althoughtheold-agepensioninsurancesystemhaveexperienceseveralmodulationandrevolution,andpublishedsomeregulationsandlaws,ithasnotaunifiednationalold-agepensioninsurancelaw.Second,givenitslimitedcoverageandsinglelevel,theold-ageinsurancesystemisincomplete.Accordingtothelaw,eventheold-ageinsurancehavecoveredgovernmentdepartment,undertakingandenterpriseemployeesandurbandwellers,butbecauseofthedifferenceofpaymentstandardandadministrationdepartment,theunifiedold-ageinsurancesystemhaven’tformedThird,thedisunitybetweenrightsandobligations.therearetwokindsofpeople.oneiscoveredbytheinsurancesystem,theheavyburdenhaveshoulderedbythegovernment.theotherwhoarebeyondthesystem,theyhaven’tenjoytherightsevenfulfilltheirobligation.Forthat,thesocietyisunfairandunstable.Last,theover-allplanninglevelislow,andthemeansofoperatecapitalissingle.Socialinsurancepremiumisusedshouldbytripartiteofunitofcountry,chooseandemploypersons,individualjointresponsibility,goupinhigheradministrative
