Bi Shumin and Her Story

Hello everyone! Today I will introduce a famous person I look up to. I admire her various life experiences and her character. She is Bi Shumin.

Bi Shumin joined the army when she was 17 years old in 1969. She lived hard in Tibet plateau as a doctor. And meanwhile she got interested in writing gradually. Then she entered China Writers Association in 1989. In 1998, she earned a Master’s degree in psychology. She is a soldier, a doctor, a writer and a Counseling Psychologist. She is a really strong, warm-hearted, and considerate person.

She is like a mirror, making us see life clearly. In her books, she warned young people that our parents can’t wait for our filial piety forever. She told alive people to face death with reason and respect. And she told us not to always remind terrible things are coming. We need to usually remind happiness is all around us. She also said, a simple and sincere girl is really beautiful.

I understood many truths I’ve never cared before. In her books, she describes her comprehension of love and beauty. So I want to share her books to you. I think it will be a great experience to read. Thanks for listening!
