Beforethis,manycountriesintheworldhavechildren'sday, andtheinternationalchildren'shappinessPromotionAssociation (InternationalChildren'shappinessPromotionAssociationinitiativetoestablishachildmemorialday.Britain,theUnitedStates,Japanandothercountrieshaveactivelyrespondedtotheestablishmentoftheirownnationalchildren'sday,theUKstipulatesJuly14thforchildren'sday,andtheUnitedStatesstipulatesMay1stforchildren'sday.Children'sdayinJapanisveryspecial.It'sdividedintoboysandgirls,children'sdayinMay5th,andchildren'sdayinMarch3rd.In1931,ChinaalsostipulatedthatApril4thwastheChinesechildren's day. Sincetheestablishmentoftheinternationalchildren'sdayinJune1stin1949,manycountriesintheworldhaveabolishedthe originalchildren'sdayandunifieditasthe"61International Children'sDay".China'scentralgovernmentannouncedinDecember1949 thatitwouldreplacetheoriginal"44children'sDay"with"61 InternationalChildren'sDay"andstipulatethatchildrenshouldhavea dayoff. 六一（二）
