Teaching and Learning Goals(教学目标):

培养发现美、创造美的意识,提高审美观。

Teaching and learning steps

Step 1: Learn to read the words of Starter Unit3.

1.Play a color song.(激发兴趣)

(在文件夹)

2.Ask students try to read the words using the phonetics by themselves and mark the difficult words.

3.Encourage the students to read the difficult words with their partners.Especially read the difficult words in groups.

4. Get one or two middle-level students to read all the words. The others listen and correct the wrong pronunciations. If necessary, the teacher corrects them.

5. Read after the tape, imitate the pronunciation.

6. Read aloud and the teacher walks around to see whether students have any questions. (设计意图:该步骤能有效培养学生个人识读单词的学习习惯,这是学习单词的重要一步;能培养学生自主、探究和合作学习的能力。首先学生自己根据音标识读单词,并标出识读时有困难的单词。接着两人一组或以小组为单位解决遇到的困难。然后找一两个同学读单词,请好学生先纠正,还有问题,教师再更正。最后让学生跟录音读, 该环节只会读即可。降低识读难度,提高全体学生积极性。鼓励没过关的学生课前课后努力赶上。)

Step 2 :Learn to remember the new words.

Remember the words by looking at the pictures.

Remember the words by matching with their Chinese meaning.

red 黄色

blue 绿色

green 红色

purple 白色

orange 黑色

black 蓝色

white 橙色

进一步熟悉颜色词,最好用相应的颜色展示单词。

(根据读音规则记单词,建立音,形间的关系。)

Guess the meanings of the following underlined words according to the context.

A chant:

red red ,the pen is red.Come let’s see (看见)the color red.

blue blue , the sky is blue. Come let’s see the color blue.

Purple,yellow and orange. Green ,white and black.

So many colors to see.Now you can see it, you say it.

Come let’s see my colors. Come let’s see my colors.

(设计意图: 在语境中猜测词汇的意义,把生词放到句子里记忆。

Step 3: Consolidate the words and phrases

1. Ask the students to read the words and phrases and their Chinese meanings. Cover the English words and phrases , look at the Chinese and say the English for them. Write down the words they haven’t grasped.

2.(当堂检测)Fill in the new words on page9 in Zhuxue.Check it each other.

设计意图:此环节为巩固单词。 这一环节有少部分的学生往往不达标,需要利用自习课或课余的时间让小组长跟踪检查,尽量能让全部学生顺利过关。)

3.英语中有很多表达与颜色有关,但不能望文生义。

Step 4 : Read the story and translate the story

1. Ask the students to read the story, and underline the new words.

2. Translate the story into Chinese in groups of two.

3. Read the story fluently by themselves.

Hi,I’m Jack. Look at my bedroom. It’s very nice. This is my pencil case. It’s green. What’s in it? Look, this is a pen. It’s black. This is a pencil. It’s red And this is a ruler. It’s purple. This is an eraser. It’s blue and white. My pencil case is big and nice . I like it. What color is my coat ?It’s yellow. It’s on my bed.And what color is my jacket ? It is brown . I like blue best .Because blue is the color of peace. It was chosen as(被选为) the color for sky and water.It looks very clean. Oh,what’s that? It’s my cat . She’s all white. You can see it on my English book. How lovely!(多可爱啊)What color is your room? What colors do you like best? Can you tell me?(设计意图:词不离句,句不离篇。学生在掌握本单元单词的基础上,再学习由本单元的生词编成的一篇故事,引导学生不仅记忆词汇本身的意义,同时在具体的语境中体会它的意义。有助于学生理解和使用。)

Step 5 Mind map.

1. Get the students to read the mind map and fill in the mind map according to the story, they can discuss in groups.

2. Get the students to retell the article using the mind map

Summary

1.Grasp the new words of the unit.

2.The world is colorful,we should learn to enjoy the world around us and cherish what we posses.

Step 5 当堂检测

一、根据句意和首字母提示写单词, 完成句子。

教学反思亮点:本节课通过多种教学方式,充分调动了学生的积极性,比如color song的导入,chant的收尾,及有趣的颜色词组,甚至古诗里的颜色,极大的调动了学生的积极性,课堂效果很好。尤其是短文编写让学生在短文中对单词有了更深的理解和运用。单词的拼读注重了学生自学能力和小组合作能力的培养,同时通过各种形式的单词记忆既加深了单词的识记,又学会了部分单词的用法,渗透了本单元的重点话题,达到了预习的目的。当堂检测的设计更是有效地补充与巩固了词汇的用法。

不足之处:一节课的时间毕竟有限,不能面面俱到,还需在以后的复习中查缺补漏和加大检查的广度.单词的书写落实还需加强。

使用建议:采用ppt和实物教学会更好,注意时间分配。
